Today we will explore the natural and heritage area of Chiloé. This route is undoubtedly a perfect setting for natural photography and exploring Chiloé culture and its relationship with architecture and faith. This route is known as the "Church Heritage Sites Route", where we will visit the towns and villages of Manao, Quemchi, Isla Aucar, Colo, Tenaún and Dalcahue. We will visit the countryside of the island through the Gulf of Ancud, which is the sea between the island and the mainland, we will explore its villages, towns and villages where we will be able to observe the old Chiloé, with its endless fields with different agricultural activities, its typical wooden houses, incredible birdlife and 3 of the 16 Churches declared World Heritage by UNESCO: Colo, Tenaún and Dalcahue. During our exploration after a soft walk, we will cross an small wooden bridge to a small island that is off the coast of Quemchi, Isla Aucar with incredible scenery and bird watching spot. At mid-morning we will enjoy a brunch in Colo area after visiting the first world heritage church, and then continue south to Tenaún and then Dalcahue where we will have time to have lunch with local products and visiting the town full of colors, its crafts, boats and architecture. In the afternoon we will return to Puerto Varas to our hotel.
