Jaime Tejada, founder of SouthernEx Chile, arrived from Viña del Mar to Puerto Varas at the beginning of 2001 and immediately fell in love with the nature and peacefull of Puerto Varas and southern Chile. Amazed by so much Patagonian beauty, he took the first steps to change his professional career from IT to Tourism.

Daniela Kompatzki, Commercial Manager, born in Ancud, Chiloé, arrives to Puerto Varas after spend few years in the United States, returns to Chile to the city of Temuco and then moves permanently to Puerto Varas. With more than 18 years of experience in Tourism, she has led our sales team since 2020.
