We will drive westbound towards Pargua to reach the Pacific Ocean. There we will sail the Chacao Canal to reach the village of the same name. Once on the island we will continue on to Puñihuil to sail to the penguin colony. This is one of the few places where Humboldt and Magellan penguins breed together during summer time. Once we finish our visit, we will continue towards the city of Ancud and drive following a countryside road to the Caulin Bay. Once there we will observe first-hand the customs and traditions of Chilotes such as the pelillo (a type of seaweed) collectors and fishermen while enjoying this charming place. We will then continue to our exclusive farm to visit our Charcuterie and learn about the meat smoking process and have lunch and share with locals.
