Our adventure begins from your hotel, heading east to reach Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. There, we will visit the famous Petrohué Waterfalls, one of the highlights of the area, and explore different trails to reach the falls.

Afterward, we’ll return to Ensenada and take the route to reach the Osorno Volcano ski resort. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to admire the forest, wildlife, and, of course, the breathtaking Llanquihue Lake. Around noon, we’ll have lunch at a restaurant on Osorno Volcano, enjoying excellent views of Lake Llanquihue. After our meal, we’ll continue exploring the area, or as an option, you can take the cable car before returning to our hotel.

We will head west towards Pargua to reach the Pacific Ocean. From there, we will navigate through the Chacao Channel to reach the town of the same name. Once on the island, we will continue to Puñihuil to sail to the penguin colony. This is one of the few places where Humboldt and Magellanic penguins breed together during the summer.

After finishing our visit, we will continue to the city of Ancud and drive along a rural road to Bahía Caulin. Once there, we will closely observe the customs and traditions of the Chilotes, such as seaweed gatherers and fishermen, while enjoying this charming place. Then, we will proceed to our exclusive farm for lunch and to interact with the locals.

Boats of Octay (am)

The activity takes place in the sheds of Botes de Octay, located in the town of Puerto Octay, which offers a peaceful environment, spectacular landscapes, rich heritage architecture, and a growing offer of creative tourism.

Participants will discover the workshop where the project began, and more than 10 sailboats were built communally. Through its history, they will learn about the importance of ship carpentry.

During the day, participants will craft – using recycled or native wood – an element of the ships made at Botes de Octay.
